Guardhouse is pleased to announce that we have joined the Football Safety Officers Association (FSOA), reinforcing our commitment to being an active and engaged part of the stadium safety and live events sector.
The FSOA plays a vital role in supporting Safety Officers working across football and major sporting venues, providing a professional forum for learning, collaboration, and the sharing of best practice. While Guardhouse is not a frontline operator, our work is closely connected to those who are responsible for managing safety on the ground. Becoming an associate member allows us to engage directly with experienced practitioners and, crucially, to learn from them.
As a software provider, we believe technology should be shaped by the realities of operational use. Joining the FSOA enables us to better understand the challenges Safety Officers face around compliance, reporting, communication, and event-day decision-making. These insights are essential in ensuring the Guardhouse platform continues to evolve in a way that is practical, relevant, and genuinely supportive of safety teams.
We place huge value on listening to those working in safety-critical environments. Too often, systems are developed in isolation from end users. By being part of the FSOA community, we can ensure feedback from Safety Officers directly informs how we adapt and improve our software, helping it align more closely with real operational needs.
This associate membership also reflects a wider principle at Guardhouse: that providers should be involved in the industries they serve. We believe it is important to contribute to sector conversations, support professional bodies, and demonstrate a long-term commitment to raising standards in stadium and crowd safety.
We are proud to join the FSOA as an associate member and look forward to learning from its members, supporting its work, and continuing to develop technology that reflects the needs of those responsible for keeping spectators safe.\
